eBay gives you 80 characters — use every single one. Each word is a potential search match. Wasted characters = lost visibility.

The proven title formula

Brand + Model + Key Feature + Condition + Size/Color + Type

Example: "Nike Air Max 90 Men's Running Shoes White Black Size 10.5 Athletic Sneakers"

Title dos

• Include the most searched keywords first
• Add color, size, material, and model number
• Use common abbreviations buyers search for (e.g., "NWT" for New With Tags)
• Include compatible model numbers for parts/accessories

Title don'ts

• No special characters (*, !, @, #) — they hurt search ranking
• No ALL CAPS words — eBay may suppress these
• No filler words like "WOW", "LOOK", "L@@K", "RARE" (unless it's genuinely rare)
• No keyword stuffing with unrelated brands
