How to activate vacation mode
- Go to My eBay → Account → Time Away settings
- Turn on vacation mode
- Set start and end date
- Optional: Add a vacation message for buyers
What happens in vacation mode?
- Your listings stay visible (SEO preserved)
- Buyers see a note that you're away
- Orders may still come in (fixed price) — unless you deactivate listings
- Your handling time is extended
Recommendation
- Short vacation (3-5 days): Vacation mode + extended handling time
- Long vacation (2+ weeks): Pause all listings or have someone handle orders
